Fizzing Fun

Fizzing Fun! This is a fun, simple, and quick Science experiment that you could try today.

Sprinkle baking soda onto a plate. Use a medicine dropper to drop vinegar onto the baking soda. Watch the fizzy reaction. B thought this was so cool! He didn’t ask me why it was happening which I’m happy about because I wasn’t prepared to answer that. I think my go to response for something like that in the future will be “Great question! Where do you think we could look to find that answer?”.

    Hello!

Nice activity. We done a similiar one, but we added soap into the mixing, so the reaction of soda with vinegar push up de soap bubbles and it turns out in a sort of magic potion. My daughter was delighted!

We learn about it in the Usborne’s book, Big book of science to make and do. It’s plenty of fun activities for children. We love it.

My kids love to do this too. We often make play dough volcanoes and put this mixture inside. Fun!
