Counting with Foam Stickers is a fun DIY activity.

This counting activity was another way to put those foam shapes to use. As he put the numbers in order, I quickly drew dots on a piece of paper. B counted the dots and found the corresponding number to cover them.

Great idea – sequencing, one-to-one correspondence, numeral recognition all in one easy to make game. Love it. Maybe you’ll come and share with the Play Academy this Friday? 🙂

Oh no! I think my daughter’s current crafting obsessiveness has used up the last of the foam stickers!

I do like these kind of games though. As she loves maths I bought a few maths sticker books and we have to do lots of things like this. She can sit there for half and hour or more, which at 4 is pretty good if you ask me!
