When N was a baby, I made sensory bottles for her. She has since grown out of them so I turned them into play kitchen spices (pictured above).
These have been a hit! In the bottles I used beads, pom poms, noodles, beans, and rice. I didn’t write the names of spices on the bottles and I’m glad I didn’t. It is fun to hear what B calls them as he adds them to his recipes.
**Make sure to glue the tops shut!

What a great idea! My daughter loves to play with my spice jars anyway. Now, I'm really regretting tossing the empty cinnamon bottle this weekend. :)(Hopping over from blogfrog MomLoop)
