Color Hunt

This color hunt activity was a fun way to combine colors and counting all at once.

I cut and laid out colored pieces of paper (as shown above). B went on a hunt and found 1 black object, 2 yellow, 3 orange, etc. Simple, fun, and quick!
This could also be a great way to introduce fractions by having your child help you cut each piece of construction paper into equal pieces.

Have to do this with my little girl. She lacks patience last few weeks with some games. Think it’s time for some new games and this one is simple enough and doesn’t need much of preparation. 🙂

Great idea and especially meaningful because B used objects you have around the home and in daily life.
