Number Matching with Dice

Number Matching with Dice
number matching with dice
Match the number in each box with the corresponding number on the die. You can make your game with all numerals, all number words, or all dots to match with. I decided to use a mix of the three to see which one B needed more practice with.To add a fine motor skill element to this activity, transfer the dice with tongs.
The box above is actually a shelf from Dollar Tree. We’ve also used it for sorting and counting.

Another neat idea! I have several of those shelves glued together. I used alphabet stickers and let my kindergartner roll up to 5 dice(1 die had some dots covered w/tape). Than if he got 4 he moved 4 spaces, and had to write a word that starts with letter D. He LOVED it and actually did the entire alphabet. We limited it to 2 words for each letter. Math (adding & counting), writing, spelling, and reading all in one FUN game. Thanks for the idea.
