Jill (from Shafer Family Blog), gave me the idea for this Christmas tradition, count down to Christmas with books.
This is our second year doing it (in addition to our Activity Advent Countdown) and we LOVE it!
Collect all of your child’s Christmas books and wrap them each individually. We put ours under the tree and each day, the kids pick one to unwrap and read. The last book we read on Christmas Eve. It is such a fun way to countdown to Christmas with books you already have. Only have 4 books? Countdown the last 4 days with them or check out a bunch from the library and use those. So fun!

I love this! I thought about doing this with the few we have as you suggested, and then going shopping for some after Christmas deals on books to increase my stash each year until we have enough! Great idea! :)

Such a fun idea. I just pulled all of ours out of storage and was wondering how I was going to do them. Wrapping is a perfect idea!
