With the end of the school year approaching, these personalized friendship bracelets are a fun way for kids to make small gifts for their classmates while working on letter sorting and lacing beads!
We used this cord (found at Walmart) and alphabet beads.
There are NOT a ton of vowels in each bag, so if you are intending on making words or names, buy 2-3 bags. You can also turn extra V’s into A’s by drawing a line with a black fine tip Sharpie.
Start by sorting the entire bag of beads. We used a mini muffin tin. I used a dry erase marker to write the letters on the tin. This really helped my girls in the sorting process. The marker wipes right off, and it creates a portable tray to keep the beads organized while you work!
We added some plastic white beads on each end. My girls LOVED making these! They can be party favors, add-ons to birthday gifts, etc. The possibilities are endless!
