B loves rhymes and songs, which are great for language development. We’ve been waiting a long time to sing this Rain Song in South Texas.
Rain is coming down. (Use your fingers to trickle down like the rain in Itsy Bitsy Spider)
Rain is coming down.
Do you hear a sound? (Hold your hand up to your ear)
Do you hear a sound?
Does it drip, drip, drip? (Hit the palm of your left hand with your right pointer finger 3x)
Or does it pound, pound, pound? (Hit the palm of your left hand with your right fist 3x)
Rain is coming down. (Fingers trickle down)
Rain is coming down.

I really like this! We get High Five magazine too – you must receive your new issues before we get ours. I’ll be looking for this – M is really into rhyming and poems lately.
