Awhile ago we tried one of our new favorite painting styles, car painting.
Have your child drive a matchbox car through some paint and then drive it on their paper. Simple as that and a nice change of pace from a regular brush.

We tried this out a few months ago and D was, surprisingly, not in to it. I think that I will give it another shot.

Too funny that you mentioned this activity today. I had already planned this as our activity for tomorrow's meeting of the art playgroup I host. This activity is so much fun, and my son loves it!
