Bottle Top Fish is an easy activity to set up and fun to play for your toddler or preschooler!
With the extra bottle tops I had, I drew fish on them and floated them in a bowl. I gave B a slotted spoon and he transferred them to another container. He also tried to transfer them with salad tongs. (Both ideas are great for motor skill development!)
Then, I turned it into a listening activity by asking him things like:
- Can you scoop out the top that has 2 fish on it?
- Can you scoop out the mad fish?
- Can you fish for all of the red tops?
After we were done, B had a great time pretending he was making soup.

I had my friends start collecting them for me! =) There's NO way I could have done it by myself. I promised them I would make some games for their child if they collected for me.
