Seashell Activities

There are a variety of fun, learning seashell activities that you can do with your children that are appropriate for all ages.

I haven’t been to the beach in years, but one thing even as an adult that I loved to do was find seashells.  So naturally beautiful and interesting.  Seashells are great for little ones to explore, great for learning, and for sensory play.

 If you don’t have a collection of seashells readily available, don’t worry!  The above collection was purchased for just a dollar at my local Dollar Tree.

Explore seashells using a magnifying glass
Language Development (talk about shells, where they are from, animals that live in them, colors, sizes, etc.)
Read books about seashells

Sort by Size
Order them from Largest to Smallest

Count Seashells
