Here is a quick and simple Christmas matching game to play with your little ones! (My daughter is in a serious matching phase right now – she loves it!)
Simply print the colored Christmas light cards, laminate (optional), and cut them apart. Then, let the matching begin!
Other Ways to Play
- Add letters or numbers to the Christmas lights to practice alphabet and numeral matching.
- Play a game of memory using the cards. You can adjust the number of pieces based on the age of your child.
- For a fun activity for elementary children, write a Christmas word using one letter for each light (ex: Christmas) and have them see how many words they can make from the given letters. (ex: mat, sit, mist, etc.) For an added challenge have them try to guess the main word as well. My former second grade students loved this activity!
