Toys that Grow with Your Child

Toys that Grow with Your Child
When it comes to toys, I’m pretty picky.  First of all, we don’t live in a large house so space is at a premium.  Second, I can’t stand toys that have limited purposes and therefore, don’t get a ton of play.  Instead, I search HARD for toys that will GROW with my kids.  I also love when ALL my kids can enjoy them (I have a 1 year old, 2 year old, and 6 year old).
These are some of my faves!

This toddler trampoline is a HIT, getting used nearly everyday!  It’s made by Diggin Active and holds up to 40 pounds, making it perfect for my two little boys.  The handle bar is great for the one year old but the two year old can easily not use it.  Plus, it gets LOTS of sillies out when we can’t go outside and play.

Every child in my house LOVES Widgets!  They are geometrical building toys and get pulled out several times a week.  Actually… Even mom and dad like them, too!

I {heart} Duplos!  The boys could play forever with these, and even big sister M loves to get in on the fun.  When they get older, we will swap out for Legos but for now, I can’t say enough about Duplos.  They are colorful, sturdy, and encourage so much creativity!

We love imaginative play around here! So even though these pieces are big, I’m ok with finding the perfect spot in our house for them. We have a play kitchen, a play BBQ grill, and our favorite, the tool bench (this one even grows with your child and can be adjusted to different heights.

3-in-1 bicycles are perfect for our growing family!  Naturally, the baby doesn’t want to be left out of the fun and this bike by Little Tikes gets the job done.  When they’re little, we strap them in and push them and as they get older, we can remove the pole and foot rests so they can learn to pedal!

A trampoline is a good toy for fun and growth! Ay little kiddo also loves playset including swing and slide!

I love toys that have multiple purposes simply because they grow up so fast and outgrow some of their toys quickly. My youngest has the 3 in 1 trike and loves to ride it on the back porch. I can't figure out how to unlock the wheels so that he can pedal for himself.
