Summer snacking can often get out of control with sugary or salty treats, especially down by the pool.
So we created a better snack using Yoplait that will still keep us cool at the pool. Watermelon Cream Pops are simple to make and a great way to get the kids in the kitchen helping to make it.
Ingredients:
- Watermelon – 3 to 4 cups
- Yoplait Vanilla Yogurt – 1 container
- Sugar (optional)
Put 3 or 4 cups of seedless watermelon in the blender.
I snuck in a little fine motor practice by having her use the tongs to transfer the watermelon.
Adding sugar is totally optional. We added 1/8 cup, but discovered it was sweet enough without it.
Next time we will NOT add any sugar at all.
Add 1 -2 containers of Yoplait Vanilla Yogurt.
Blend!
Pour the mixture into a popsicle mold and freeze.
If you don’t have a popsicle mold on hand, use small paper cups and add a craft stick. After freezing, peel the paper cup from the popsicle and enjoy.
These Watermelon Cream Pops are so DELICIOUS!
You can find a variety of Yoplait at Walmart – Original, Light, Greek, and Gogurt.
