Our family LOVES Chick-fil-A! We go whenever we get a chance, and are always impressed not only with the food, but also with the amazing customer service. So we decided to go on a Chick-fil-A field trip.
I am home schooling my older two daughters, and I’m always looking for interesting places to go, or new things to try. When I saw the “Back Stage Tour” offer, I knew we had to do it! What fun to go “behind the scenes” and see the Chick-fil-A kitchen! It was very easy to schedule. It was just a quick phone call to schedule a date and time for the tour. They try to schedule it during a slower time, in order to give an in-depth tour when the kitchen isn’t slammed.
It was incredible! The General Manager started by giving us history about the company, and then took us “back stage” to tour the kitchen, refrigerator and freezer, and we stopped at all the different stations. They showed us how the items are prepared and cooked, and were full of interesting facts!
At the end of the tour, the kids get to help make their own ice cream cones. They allowed time for questions (which we had prepared in advance) and the GM was so willing to answer questions my girls had.
I absolutely recommend taking this tour when you can get a chance, maybe even as a fun summer activity when school is out!

Was this at the "Home Office" or just at a local Chick-fil-A restaurant?

It was at a local Chick-fil-A restaurant. You can call and schedule a tour like this. So fun!
