Using a bag of small Fall themed foam shapes, I used a Sharpie to create a Fall Math Sorting Game.
We were practicing both cardinal and ordinal numbers and simple addition math facts (Example: 1st, one, 1, first, 1+0), but you can customize your game to include whatever you are working on.
Ideas:
- numerals and matching dots
- capital and lowercase letters
- tally marks, numerals, and number words
Here is what the pieces looked like before I mixed them up.
It was a great sorting game for my daughter to match the numbers that belonged in the same group.
