Facts About the Eiffel Tower
The Eiffel Tower is one of the world’s most iconic landmarks. The tower was built by french entrepreneur, Gustave Eiffel. The original 324-meter-tall masterpiece was the tallest building for 41 years (until the Chrysler building in 1930). It is no surprise that it is one of the most popular landmarks to visit, with about 7 million people visiting each year. There’s a post office, a science lab, and a bunker in and below the Eiffel Tower.
