Easy Ghost Crafts for Kids

Easy Ghost Crafts for Kids
Halloween is just around the corner, but there are still a couple of days left to do one of these fun, easy ghost crafts for kids. These are the best Halloween crafts for younger children because they aren’t scary. Why not decorate with homemade ghosts as your child stays busy getting creativity and making a great Halloween decoration at the same time.

A hanging Coffee Filter Ghost is fun ghost craft for all ages (from Fun Littles). Just use a black marker to make the faces. I love how simple these are to make and how cool they look as Halloween decorations. Make a garland with them or hang them around the house.

Ghost Finger Puppets

Ghost Paper Finger Puppets are a simple Halloween craft from Easy Peasy and Fun. Their step-by-step tutorial shows you how to measure and create a ghost finger puppet from white paper.

These would go great with the poem 5 Little Ghosts!

5 Little Ghosts

5 little ghosts flying out the door,

One flew away and then there were 4.

4 little ghosts playing happily,

One flew away and then there were 3.

3 little ghosts yelling BOO!

One flew away and then there were 2.

2 little ghosts having spooky fun.

One flew away and then there was 1.

1 little ghost sleeping in the sun,

One flew away and then there was none.

This easy ghost craft is a staple craft for preschoolers. To make the cotton ball ghost craft, use cotton balls and glue to make Fluffy Ghost Craft for Kids from Crafted with Bliss

This is one of my favorite friendly ghost crafts. Look how adorable these little ghosts are! Make your own Yarn Doll Ghosts from The Craft Train. You could even make several and attach them together using fishing line to make yarn ghost garland.

Glue Ghost Necklace from Enchanted Learning is a great way to experiment with glue. Letting it dry on your palm and slowly peeling it off to get a natural ghost shape is how this project starts.

The perfect Halloween craft for toddlers and preschoolers is the Fingerprint Ghost Craft from Crafts on Sea. It’s not only a craft, but also a keepsake. It’s not only a craft, but also a keepsake. You can also use a pom pom in a clothes pin to dip into paint and make the ghost shape.

This is one of my favorite ghost crafts of all time. Probably because I made them as a kid. Do you remember making lollipop ghosts with a white sheet of paper or tissues and suckers when you were a kid? Make some lollipop ghosts and include this free printable from Press Print Party

The Toilet Paper Tube Ghost Craft from Craft Corner DIY is a easy Halloween craft! Use white paint to paint an extra toilet paper tube. Then, add a face and crepe paper streamers from the bottom.

Ghostly Smores
Put together a s’more and then place it in the microwave. Start out around 10 seconds. Watch as these puffy ghosts expand and their faces change. The best part of course is eating it. It is a fun way to enjoy a snack for kids of all ages.

A great project for the older kids is this Interactive Flying Ghost from Kids Craft Room. This ghost craft flies and moves up and down as you adjust the strings.
