Use pom poms, glue, and cardstock to make a Pom Pom Caterpillar developing fine motor skills and creativity.
There was a suggestion on my Activities with Pom Poms post to make a pom pom caterpillar. I thought this would be a perfect activity for more practice with glue.
Another idea given to me was to put dots on the paper where you want your child to put the glue. This worked out great! B was really focused on getting the glue only on the dots. I would recommend this idea for any craft!

I've solved the glue puddling with a glue bottle top you can buy called Tap 'n Glue...It's one of those thing I wish I would invented so I could retire a wealthy woman. I LOVE them!

I think you can find them in the Lakeshore Learning or Discount School Supply catalogs, but I don't remember.

Great idea to reinforce the 'one drop' concept. I'll be doing this and linking back for sure!

We definitely need to do some glue-only-on-the-dots activities! Thank goodness glue is inexpensive, but still, I'd much rather have dots of glue than pools of it! I'm going to use this idea right away - thank you!
