Bottle Top Shapes and Colors

Bottle Top Shapes and Colors
I’m on a roll with bottle tops lately! Yesterday I showed you our bottle top sentences and today I wanted to share this bottle top shapes and colors activity (using milk tops).

Directions:

  1. Print out 2 of the Bottle Top Colors and Shapes Printable.  One on card stock and one on paper.
  2. Cut the circles out of the paper.
  3. Use modge podge to glue them on the tops.

TIPS:

I put both a color and shape on each bottle top so it could be used for more than one activity, but only focus on one concept at a time or use the concept your child already knows to introduce the other.

For example, if your child already knows colors but not shapes, “Can you find the red top? Yes, that is the red top! Can you set it on the red circle that has a triangle in it? Alright! You found the triangle.”

Thank you, I will use the idea to teach the colors in German to Frenchspeaking kids in kindergarten
