My niece and I share a love of all things artsy and last weekend we decided to add a little pizazz to my garden with homemade garden markers.
We found a bunch of nice rocks that had a flat face and decided to paint them as markers for the garden. I do not like to use the little plastic sticks showing what you have growing in the garden. I prefer to have something a little more fancy.
On each rock we painted a picture of what we planted, and wrote the name as well. We let them dry, then sprayed with a sealant to protect from the dirt and rain. Here they are drying on the mantle! You can use these year after year!
