Homemade Doughnuts is a simple family tradition I grew up making. These easy homemade doughnuts are so awesome and you can have them ready in less than 15 minutes!
Easy Homemade Doughnuts
Ingredients:
- 1 can refrigerator biscuits
- Sugar
- Vegetable oil for frying

Use a small circle to cut out the center of each biscuit, creating a typical doughnut and a doughnut hole. I use a plastic medicine dispenser cup (turned upside down) because it’s easy for the kids to use, and we always seems to have a ton on hand!

Heat vegetable oil to 330 degrees in a saucepan.

Add the dough, and fry for about 1 minute per side.
Don’t overcrowd the pan or the oil will cool too quickly.
Be careful!! The oil is hot, so have an adult do this part!

When they are done transfer to a paper towel to absorb any extra oil and immediately toss in a bowl of sugar. This part is completely kid friendly!! Here’s a chocolate glaze recipe that could also go on top of the doughnuts.
Repeat the process with the doughnut holes, and enjoy!
These don’t last long in our house and are always a special treat!
