New Year’s Eve Craft for Kids

New Year’s Eve Craft for Kids

With this New Year’s Eve Craft, you will make a cool sign that includes your goals for the new year. Hang it in your room as a reminder of what you want to accomplish this year.

Materials:

  • 8 Craft Sticks
  • Hot Glue Gun
  • Markers (paint pens or permanent markers)
  • Paint and Paintbrush (optional)
  • Pipe Cleaners (optional)
  • Pom Poms or Beads (optional)

Put 6 craft sticks next to each other with the edges touching.

Put a line of hot glue on two other craft sticks and place them vertically on each side. These will hold all of the sticks together. This is the back of the craft so it is ok if they aren’t perfectly straight.

Turn the craft sticks over and paint the front (optional). Let the paint dry.

Write 3 to 5 goals that you’d like to achieve in the new year.

Use the hot glue gun to attach the ends of a pipe cleaner to the back of your craft. If you don’t have pipe cleaners, you can also use ribbon or yarn.

Add any additional decorations to the front of your sign. You could add pom poms, beads, glitter, etc.

Hang your New Year’s Goals up in your room to refer to this year.

I love how simple this New Year’s Eve craft is and how everyone can make one, regardless of age!
