Chicka Chicka Boom Boom Dice Game is a great counting game for your preschooler or toddler. It targets specific skills like one-to-one correspondence and more.
Chicka Chicka Boom Boom by Bill Martin Jr. and John Archambault is hands down our favorite alphabet book. It is such a fun read and really helps with lowercase letter recognition.
So I decided to create this Chicka Chicka Dice Game to inspire N to practice counting.
How to Play:
*Roll the die (or spin a spinner).
*Cover the corresponding number of pictures on your game board. We used garden stones from the dollar store. You can use anything for counters – cereal, m&ms, blocks, pom poms, etc.
*Encourage your child to cover the pictures working top to bottom, left to right.
*When the grid is full, you win!
