After School Snacks

I can’t believe it is already back to school time! One of my favorite moments of the day is right when I pick up the kids and they are sharing every detail of their day with me. I love those conversations and that time together.

Both kids are usually starving so we have a snack and I get to keep the conversation going (Bonus!).

I am so excited about Shamrock Farms mmmilk! These 12 oz. servings come in chocolate, strawberry, and regular and are available at Walmart for only $1 each! That makes them perfect for after school snacks and school lunches too.

These Fruit Bars make a great after school snack.

Fruit Bars

1. Melt 1/2 c. honey, 1/2 cup peanut butter, and 1/2 tsp. cinnamon in a sauce pan.
2. In a bowl, combine 3 c. cereal and 1/4 c. fruit (we used raisins).
3. Pour the melted mixture over the cereal and stir. Spread into a cake pan and refrigerate for 1 hr.

No Bake Energy Bites are another great option.
