Do your children LOVE to cook and help out in the kitchen?
Do they want to try it ALL and ask questions like “What’s next?” or “How long do we need to wait?”.

Then “Cooking to Learn ~ Recipes for Beginning Readers” is the eBook for YOU!

During all of the questions and excitement I always wished I could point to a simple recipe and show them which step we are on, how many ingredients there are, or how long it needs to bake for. Because of this, I decided to turn a few of our favorite recipes into a beginning reader friendly eBook.

I put together 10 recipes in the eBook, Cooking to Learn.

Focus of these Recipes:

  • Beginning Reader Skills – heavy on picture clues and use of cvc words-cup, mix, top, etc. and early sight words
  • Math Skills – counting, estimating, and measuring
  • Motor Skills – cracking eggs, mashing, stirring, and scooping
  • Quality Time

If you want to COOK and LEARN with your children and beginning readers then this is the eBook for you!

Congratulations on your ebook! What a great concept, too! My boys learned a lot from cooking with me and hanging out in the kitchen. I'm not sure which is the better benefit, the quality time or the application of math and motor skills. Looking back I suppose it's a tie, but I appreciate the memories of the quality time now that my guys are grown and gone. Much success to you!

I was given a first cookbook when I was little, and I gave a first cookbook to my daughters as well. I think they are a great way to practice reading, cooking, and a wonderful way to spend time together.Congratulations!
